The new release of AMD drivers is not as boring as anyone would expect.
One of the biggest things for sure is support for Radeon RX 9060 (non-XT). The GPU was officially released yesterday. So far this is the lowest tier product of RX 9xxx series. It is paired with controversial 8GB of VRAM that also is a slower configuration of GDDR6.
Another big news in this release is FSR4 support in Cyberpunk 2077. In order to be able to use it you need this or newer driver, RDNA4 GPU and game updated to version 2.3.1 or higher.
This driver release adds support for such games as Mafia: The Old Country, Mecha Break, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Battlefield 6 Beta and Valorant upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.
Sad news for Polaris and Vega users as it seems that AMD finally actually dropped support for these GPUs as there is no separate build of driver for these and only available is one for RDNA family. After AMD officially stopped supporting Polaris and Vega long time ago these GPUs were still receiving updates with each WHQL release of AMD Software in form of separate build containing drivers supporting all: Polaris, Vega and RDNA lineup.
Here you can download the driver from AMD’s website and read detailed list of changes:
