  • Intel Arc GPU Drivers 101.7026 WHQL

The latest stable driver fixes few issues with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Game that is not the latest release is getting fixes on driver level for problems that happen particularly on Intel Arc GPUs. This includes corruptions on water areas in certain scenarios. Something that requires specific conditions in order to happen.

Another fix came for Final Fantasy XVI where color corruption may be triggered in certain gameplay scenarios.

What’s interesting both problems can be faced when games are run with DX12 API.

  • GeForce Game Ready Driver 581.08 WHQL – more and more features being added to nVidia APP

This release of nVidia driver on top of few nice fixes for problems with games also introduces some new features to “older” hardware.

One of the more interesting fixes is resolving a crash happening when trying to take a screenshot in photo mode with path tracing enabled.

If previous driver caused you drop in performance in Marvel Rivals then give a go to this one as this problem shouldn’t exist anymore and your framerates should be back to wherever they were before.

For Forza Motorsport there was a crash happening when you were trying to look into nVidia App overlay statistics while having smooth motion enabled. This driver resolves it. Anyway this crash was easily preventable by using any other monitoring OSD available, like for example the most popular: MSI Afterburner.

Do you want to run particular DLSS version across all games? Now you can set it globally.

Smooth Motion now also works on older GPUs of 4xxx series, both desktop and mobile.

Speaking of mobile… Project G-Assist, nVidia’s AI assistant for GPU configuration, works now on all GPUs with at least 6GB of VRAM, including laptops.

  • GeForce Game Ready Driver 580.97 WHQL – one of the most boring releases ever

Today got released new nVidia driver 580.97. Reading list of changes it makes you think there is basically no changes.

General fixes apply to fairly uncommon hardware and software combinations.

Other than that if you care about DLSS the version 4 got added to GTA V: Enhanced Edition and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced.

What is not listed is the problem that was introduced in previous release (580.88) and persists in this version. Laptop GPUs face problem of FPS dropping over time of gameplay in DX12 games, especially when you keep alt+tabbing between various windows. At the moment there is no other fix to that than reverting back to 577.00 driver or older. nVidia is aware of that and they are working on a fix.

  • Intel Arc GPU Graphics Drivers 101.6989 Beta – a necessary hotfix

Latest beta driver of Intel ARC GPUs drivers is important for people who play PEAK on discrete GPUs and Battlefield 6’s Open Beta on integrated GPUs.

This hotfix contains resolution to crash on launch of PEAK.

People playing Battlefield 6 Open Beta on integrated ARC GPUs when they will attempt to play it again this weekend (second weekend of Open Beta) will no longer experience system freeze while loading gameplay.

    Driver can be downloaded here:

  • Intel Arc GPU Drivers 101.6987 WHQL – Play Battlefield 6 and Mafia: The Old Country

New release of Intel Arc GPU drivers is rather boring and doesn’t bring any important changes like adding new features or significantly improving already existing ones.

The most important change comes in form of added support for Battlefield 6 Open Beta and Mafia: The Old Country.

Full list of changes you can read here:

  • AMD Radeon Software 25.8.1 WHQL – new games, new hardware

The new release of AMD drivers is not as boring as anyone would expect.

One of the biggest things for sure is support for Radeon RX 9060 (non-XT). The GPU was officially released yesterday. So far this is the lowest tier product of RX 9xxx series. It is paired with controversial 8GB of VRAM that also is a slower configuration of GDDR6.

Another big news in this release is FSR4 support in Cyberpunk 2077. In order to be able to use it you need this or newer driver, RDNA4 GPU and game updated to version 2.3.1 or higher.

This driver release adds support for such games as Mafia: The Old Country, Mecha Break, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Battlefield 6 Beta and Valorant upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.

Sad news for Polaris and Vega users as it seems that AMD finally actually dropped support for these GPUs as there is no separate build of driver for these and only available is one for RDNA family. After AMD officially stopped supporting Polaris and Vega long time ago these GPUs were still receiving updates with each WHQL release of AMD Software in form of separate build containing drivers supporting all: Polaris, Vega and RDNA lineup.

Here you can download the driver from AMD’s website and read detailed list of changes:

  • GeForce Game Ready Driver 580.88: “Mafia: The Old Country” and plans to change support for older GPUs

A new driver has been released for NVIDIA GPUs: version 580.80. It adds support for Mafia: The Old Country.

Some of the most interesting changes and fixes include:

    • 32-bit games crash when using the DXVK translation layer during startup
    • Cyberpunk 2077: Micro-stutter may occur when V-SYNC is enabled
    • Dirt 5: Game crashes on startup
    • GPU scaling option is missing from the NVIDIA Control Panel / NVIDIA App when a DSC monitor is connected
    • GPU video memory runs at a slightly lower speed after enabling NVIDIA Smooth Motion
    • On some systems running hybrid graphics mode, the dGPU may not enter sleep mode

The biggest news with this driver release is the mention of NVIDIA’s plans regarding support for Windows 10 and older GPUs. Official support for Windows 10 for regular users ends on October 14th, 2025, and this will also affect NVIDIA’s drivers. To quote the official announcement:

“After a final Game Ready Driver release in October 2025, GeForce GPUs based on Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta architectures will transition to receiving quarterly security updates for the next three years (through October 2028). Our support lifetime for these GPUs reaches up to 11 years, well beyond industry norms.

Also, we’re extending Windows 10 Game Ready Driver support for all GeForce RTX GPUs to October 2026, a year beyond the operating system’s end-of-life, to ensure users continue to receive the latest day-0 optimizations for new games and apps.”

This means that after October 2025, GPUs from the 9xx, 10xx, and Titan V series will receive driver updates only quarterly. These updates will focus primarily on security rather than support for new games and technologies. While it’s still possible that some optimizations for new titles and technologies will be included, they will be lower in priority compared to security fixes.

Seeing support extended for Windows 10 until October 2026 is good news for users (like me) who prefer not to move to Windows 11 and continue using Windows 10. There are plenty of reasons to avoid upgrading, and not many compelling ones to make the switch to 11.

Drivers can be downloaded either from nVidia’s website or nVidia App:
