This release of nVidia driver on top of few nice fixes for problems with games also introduces some new features to “older” hardware.
One of the more interesting fixes is resolving a crash happening when trying to take a screenshot in photo mode with path tracing enabled.
If previous driver caused you drop in performance in Marvel Rivals then give a go to this one as this problem shouldn’t exist anymore and your framerates should be back to wherever they were before.
For Forza Motorsport there was a crash happening when you were trying to look into nVidia App overlay statistics while having smooth motion enabled. This driver resolves it. Anyway this crash was easily preventable by using any other monitoring OSD available, like for example the most popular: MSI Afterburner.
Do you want to run particular DLSS version across all games? Now you can set it globally.
Smooth Motion now also works on older GPUs of 4xxx series, both desktop and mobile.
Speaking of mobile… Project G-Assist, nVidia’s AI assistant for GPU configuration, works now on all GPUs with at least 6GB of VRAM, including laptops.
